On November 1, 2015, the Johnson County Historical Society presented Mrs. Bertha Olin and Dr. William Olin Sr. with the 2015 Irving Weber Award.

The Irving Weber Award is conferred by the Johnson County Historical Society in recognition of distinguished contribution to the research, writing, or preservation of Johnson County history.

The Olin’s have been longtime supporters of the Johnson County Historical Society and the preservation of their community’s history, as avid collectors themselves. Part of their music box collection was donated on temporary loan to view at the Johnson County Historical Society’s exhibit hall.
