Columbia Grafonola

​This grafonola machine could be a Jewel (introduced 1914), Model 35 (introduced 1915), or a Type C (introduced 1918). These are all essentially the same machine, only minor changes were made during its long production run. The name first changed in 1915 when Columbia switched from names to model numbers. Then again in 1918 due to wartime inflation of currency making Model 35 (which reflected the original list price) void.
